Qiamullail is a highly recommended practice in Islam, especially during the last ten nights of Ramadhan, as an effort to draw closer to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and ask for forgiveness and mercy from Him. The Ministry of Religious Affairs organised the Qiamullail Ramadhan Programme simultaneously nationwide. For Brunei Muara District, the main focus of the programme was held at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong, 15th March early morning.
Among those present were several Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers. The programme included the mass Sunat Tasbih Prayer, followed by the recitation of Wirid and Doa of Sunat Tasbih Prayer and Doa Munajat as well as Doa Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam.
In Belait District, the programme was held at Kampung Pandan National Housing Scheme, Kuala Belait. Present was Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer.
In Tutong District, the programme took place at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Tutong Town. Among those joining was Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer.
The Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque, Bangar Town was the main focus of the Programme in Temburong District. The implementation of such a programme was not only glorifying the mosque, but also strengthens the ties among the congregants.
